PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a more flexible, highly accurate color aberration correction while using a prestored amount of correction.SOLUTION: On the basis of an amount of correction for each discrete combination of the optical parameters of an optical system, an amount of correction corresponding to a combination of optical parameters when the image is picked-up is calculated as a first amount of correction. On the basis of the combination of the optical parameters when the image is picked and a combination of optical parameters corresponding to the prestored amount of correction, a first degree of reliability, which is the degree of reliability of the first amount of correction, is calculated. On the basis of the image, an amount of correction, corresponding to the combination of the optical parameters when the image is picked up, is calculated as a second amount of correction. On the basis of the image, a second degree of reliability, which is the degree of reliability of the second amount of correction, is calculated. On the basis of the first and second degrees of reliability, a third amount of correction is created. By applying the third amount of correction for the image, the color aberration correction is made. |
