PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable firmware installed in a server to save information which has to be displayed on a console and facilitate detection of failure.SOLUTION: When failure occurs in a blade server 601, installed firmware 602 of an enclosure manager saves failure information such as an OS dump message, which has to be output to a console, in an SIO dump memory 604 provided in the blade server, and outputs the failure information to a terminal 611 by using an SIO port 606. |
