PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a loss in reverse rotation torque of a power generation device at the time of swing-back operation in an internal combustion engine that performs swing-back operation by driving of the power generation device at the time of idle-stop operation and supports a driven member of a centrifugal clutch via a one-way clutch on a transmission shaft in a transmission path from a crankshaft to an engine output part.SOLUTION: The internal combustion engine comprises a locking restriction device 47A that restricts locking for torque transmission in a one-way clutch 40 at the time of reverse rotation of a crankshaft 9 in swing-back control. The locking restriction device 47A restricts locking of the one-way clutch 40 depending on the reverse rotation speed of the crankshaft 9 in swing-back control.
