PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic device capable of displaying an ultrasonic image of desired image quality from the viewpoint of a motion artifact.SOLUTION: There are included: a synthetic data production unit that produces synthetic data by synthesizing plural frames of data items which are based on echo signals obtained by transmitting ultrasonic waves to an object; a display unit on which an ultrasonic image based on the synthetic data is displayed; and an index calculation unit that calculates for each of the frames an index IN relevant to a magnitude of a motion artifact in the ultrasonic image on the basis of the data. The synthetic data production unit produces synthetic data by synthesizing data items of frames flwhose indices IN fall below a threshold INth.
