PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice growing method which makes it possible to grow rice without flooding management, can be conducted at low cost, and can also reduce the cadmium content of rice without inhibiting rice growth.SOLUTION: This invention provides a rice growing method in which a cadmium absorption inhibitor of an iron precipitate composed of an iron hydroxide is applied to a field and rice is grown. In preferable embodiments, the iron hydroxide (Fe(OH)) content of the cadmium absorption inhibitor is 25 mass% or more, and the cadmium absorption inhibitor is applied to a field at the rate of 25 kg/50 mor more. |
