PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve desirable discharge and image formation and suppress an increase in cost.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording device includes: a recording head for discharging an ink to a sheet from a nozzle hole by applying pressure to the ink in a pressure chamber by using a piezo electric element using a signal in which a relationship between a time and a voltage is indicated by a predetermined driving waveform; first signal generating means for generating a micro driving signal for not discharging the ink; second signal generating means for generating a discharge driving signal for discharging the ink; and detecting means for detecting a current value of a waveform portion common to both of the micro driving signal and the discharge driving signal, in a signal having the same waveform as that of the micro driving signal in the discharge driving signal, which flows in the piezo electric element. The inkjet recording device determines a drive waveform on the basis of the current value detected by the detecting means. |
