<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging device and a charging method for setting a use region of a battery according to charging environment.SOLUTION: A charging device acquires first information for determining an upper limit of a use region of a battery to be mounted on a vehicle 1 from a power supply device 2 connected thereto for charging the battery before completion of charging the battery; refers to adjustment information including the first information and second information for adjusting the upper limit of the use region associated with the first information by using the acquired first information; and selects the second information for setting the upper limit of the use region by using the second information.</p> |
