PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel support system capable of accurately determining whether inattentive driving is performed by identifying an area viewed by a vehicle driver, a travel support method and a computer program.SOLUTION: The travel support system determines a presence/absence of a feature object on the basis of each image picked up by a first front camera 19 installed inside a vehicle and a second front camera 20 installed outside the vehicle and a sight line position of the vehicle driver. When determining the presence of a feature object, the system identifies where the feature object is located, inside the vehicle or at the front glass or outside the vehicle. Further, the system identifies where an area viewed by the driver is positioned, inside the vehicle or at the front glass or outside the vehicle on the basis of the sight line position of the driver and the detection result of the feature object, and gives guidance about the area viewed by the driver or his/her sight line position on the basis of the detection result of the feature object and the viewed area. |
