PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement image processing adequately to a sheet which is cut obliquely at the leading end or the posterior end.SOLUTION: An image processing device comprises: a transportation route P for transporting a document sheet S; a registration roller 19 which is provided on the transportation route P and implements skew correction by butting the document sheet S transported on the transportation route P; a photoelectric conversion section 22 which is provided at the downstream side in the transportation direction, of the registration roller 19 and reads an image from the document sheet S transported on the transportation route P; a determination part 71 for determining that at which end, a leading end or a rear end, of the sheet transported on the transportation route P is cut obliquely; and an equipment control part 72 which performs the control that the document sheet S transported on the transportation route P is transported to the photoelectric conversion section 22 without skew correction by the registration roller 19 when it is determined by the determination part 71 that the document sheet S is cut obliquely relative to the transportation direction at the leading end. |
