PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire for heavy load with small rolling resistance which is excellent in durability.SOLUTION: The tire 2 includes the belt 18 laminated to a carcass 12 and a covering rubber 20. The belt 18 includes a first ply 38a located at the outside in a radial direction of the carcass 12, a second ply 38b located at the outside in a radial direction of the first ply 38a, and a third ply 38c located at the outside in a radial direction of the second ply 38b. The covering rubber 20 covers over the end part 42 of the second ply 38b and the end part 40 of the third ply 38c. The thickness Y in a radial direction of the covering rubber 20 located between the end part 42 and the end part 40 is 4.0 mm or more and 5.0 mm or less. The complex elastic modulus Et of a topping rubber which constitutes each ply is 4.0 MPa or more and is 7.0 MPa or less, and the complex elastic modulus Ec of the covering rubber is 8.0 MPa or more and is 12.0 MPa or less. |
