PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress abnormal sound generated when changing a phase difference without deteriorating responsivity of a vibration wave motor.SOLUTION: A lens-side MCU 15 of a lens barrel 10 controls a driving device 14 for outputting an A-phase drive signal and a B-phase drive signal to a vibration wave motor 12 to apply a drive voltage to the vibration wave motor 12. The lens-side MCU 15 changes the drive voltage by using, for example, a drive voltage setting part 152 and a duty ratio changing part 153. The lens-side MCU 15 includes a phase difference changing part 154 for changing the phase difference of the A-phase drive signal and the B-phase drive signal. When driving the vibration wave motor 12, the lens-side MCU 15 changes the drive voltage to V, and when the phase difference changing part 154 changes the phase difference, the lens-side MCU 15 changes the drive voltage to Vwhich is larger than zero and smaller than V. |
