PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance system and a maintenance method of an elevator capable of optimizing the date of maintenance inspection of the elevator, while reducing an influence on a user. ! SOLUTION: An maintenance system 100 of an elevator for setting the date of maintenance inspection of the elevator includes an elevator control panel 20 for counting the number of times of operation of the elevator, an in-cage camera 30 for photographing the inside of the cage of the elevator as in-cage camera image, and an inspection date setting device 10 for setting as each candidate for the date of maintenance inspection in the order of the smallness of a traffic volume per unit time based on the number of times of operation and the number of persons getting in/out obtained from the in-cage camera image. !
