PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade receiver of a receptacle and a manufacturing method thereof, in which material cost can be suppressed and repetition durability can be achieved for a number of times of insertion/extraction by securing contact pressure capable of ensuring electric conduction.SOLUTION: A blade receiver 1 is integrally manufactured from a plate having a spring property of a conductive copper alloy and comprises two blade receiver springs 2, support parts 3 for supporting the blade receiver springs 2 and a connection terminal part 4 continued to the support parts 3. The blade receiver 1 has a recesses along ridge lines of four bent parts a1-a4 and the recesses are filled with a plating material 5. The blade receiver springs 2 hold a plug blade 9 therebetween in the state where pressure acts on the plug blade 9. In a ridge line portion outside of the bent parts a1, a2, a compression stress is generated by actions of forces Fa, Fb based on the insertion of the plug blade 9. The plating material 5 filling the compression stress generation part generates a reaction with respect to the compression stress and improves a strength and rigidity of the blade receiver 1, thereby thins the copper alloy plate, and improves durability. |
