PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio reproduction device having a resume reproduction function which prevents a user from feeling uncomfortable sound and sound skipping even when memory recording processing cannot be correctly performed.SOLUTION: An audio reproduction device includes: a memory 113 in which a part corresponding to a prescribed time length, of sound data recorded in a disk-type recording medium is recorded; a memory recording control/content confirmation unit 106 which controls recording of the sound data into the memory and localizes breakdown of sound data recorded in the memory; a memory reproduction control unit 105 which controls reproduction of the sound data recorded in the memory; a disk-type recording medium/memory switching control unit 103 which switches reproduction from the memory to reproduction from the disk-type recording medium; a memory management information acquisition unit 107 which acquires management information of sound data normally stored after the localized breakdown of the sound data in the memory; and a display control unit 108 which controls display of a start animation to be displayed on a display 112 when a power source is turned on, on the basis of the management information. |
