PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of heat of a fuse element during electric conduction in the case where a product is downsized, and the problem that, in the case of pinching and fixing by a mating terminal, a pinching and fixing strength may be weakened.SOLUTION: A fuse comprises: a fuse element 10 which includes a pair of plate parts 11, 12 in both ends and includes a fusible part 13 between mutually opposing inner side edges 11a, 12b of both the plate parts; and an insulation housing 50 for covering the plate parts at the sides of the inner side edges and the fusible part in the state where both the plate parts at the sides of outer edges 11c, 12c protrude from slits of both terminal walls 55, 58 to the outside. The plate parts at the sides of the outer edges protruding to the outside are formed as terminal parts 21, 22 of which a thickness is made double by being overlapped multiple times by folding the plate parts, and protrusions 11b, 12b provided at upper and lower side edges of the plate parts are abutted to inner surfaces of both the terminal walls of the insulation housing, such that the fuse element is positioned with respect to the insulation housing. |
