PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction device which can reduce a sucked liquid more than necessary in suction operation for resolving clogging of a nozzle by sucking the liquid filled in a discharge head from the nozzle of a discharge head, and provide a suction method using the suction device, and a discharge device having the suction device.SOLUTION: A suction device 70A is for a discharge head 50 having a nozzle. The suction device includes a cap 72 which can tightly seal a nozzle surface 58p with the nozzle arranged, a decompression pump 73 as decompression means, and a suction route 77 arranged between the cap 72 and the decompression pump 73. A liquid filled in the discharge head 50 is sucked from the nozzle by adjusting a volume of the suction route 77 and a negative pressure level of the suction route 77 by the decompression pump 73. |
