PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition having an excellent antistatic performance without decreasing an adhesive performance, and an adhesive film, a surface protective film and an optical film using the composition.SOLUTION: The adhesive composition has an antistatic performance and comprises: an antistatic agent comprising a neutralization salt of a strong inorganic acid and a strong organic base; and an adhesive resin component. It is preferable that the inorganic acid shows an acid dissociation constant (pKa) of 0 or less in water at 25.°C and that the organic base shows an acid dissociation constant (pKa) of 8 or more in water at 25°C.
