PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration detector which surely detects vibrations of an earthquake and the like and can be easily returned to an initial setting state.SOLUTION: A vibration detector 22 includes switch means arranged on a substrate, a box body 53 turnable around a turning shaft part 62, and an operation body 54 connected to the box body. The box body has a plurality of wall surfaces and a bottom surface demarcating a prescribed internal space extending in a direction orthogonal to the axial line of the turning shaft part and is so arranged that the bottom surface is located above the switch means. A ball body rolls on the bottom surface in the prescribed internal space. An opening is formed on the bottom surface in one end of the prescribed internal space so that the ball body partially projects downward from the bottom surface to operate the switch means. A placement part is formed on the bottom surface in the other end of the prescribed internal space so that the ball body is placed on the placement part in the state of being still. The operation body is operable to turn the box body into such a turning state that the placement part is located in a position higher than the opening. |
