<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging lens whose entire length is shortened while maintaining excellent optical performance.SOLUTION: The imaging lens comprises: an aperture stop 2; and first, second, third, fourth, and fifth lens elements 3 to 7, arranged in order from an object side to an image side. The first lens element 3 has positive refractive power. The image-side surface 42 of the second lens element 4 has a concave portion 421 in the vicinity of a peripheral edge part. The object-side surface 51 of the third lens element 5 has a concave portion 511 in the vicinity of the peripheral edge part. The object-side surface 61 of the fourth lens element 6 has a convex portion 611 in the vicinity of an optical axis. The image-side surfaces 62 and 72 of the fourth lens element 6 and the fifth lens element 7 have concave portions 621 and 721 in the vicinity of the optical axis. The fifth lens element 7 is made of a plastic material.</p> |
