PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distortion compensation device and a radio communication device that suppress an effect on reception performance on the side of a receiver for receiving a transmission signal.SOLUTION: A distortion compensation device 3 includes: a distortion compensation processing section 12 for performing pre-distortion compensation processing on a transmission signal to be given to an amplifier 2 by using distortion compensation coefficients for compensating for a distortion of the amplifier 2; a model estimation section 11 for estimating the distortion compensation coefficients; and an update processing section 13 for updating the distortion compensation coefficients used by the distortion compensation processing section 12 on the basis of estimates made by the model estimation section 11. A receiver that receives the transmission signal estimates a propagation path of the transmission signal in every unit time range for estimation of the propagation path of the transmission signal, and the update processing section 13 updates the distortion compensation coefficients between adjacent unit time ranges of a plurality of unit time ranges ranging in a time axis direction.
