PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor compressor which fixes a stator to a housing without performing shrink fitting, securely press-fits the stator into the housing while inhibiting the occurrence of burrs (chips), and secures sufficient interference. ! SOLUTION: A motor compressor includes: a substantially cylindrical housing; a compression mechanism which is housed in the housing and compresses a refrigerant; and an electric motor part housed in the housing. The electric motor part comprises: a stator which is press-fitted into an inner wall of the housing; a rotor disposed at an inner periphery of the stator; and a driving shaft press-fitted in the rotor. A guide member which guides the stator press-fitted into the housing is disposed at an outer periphery of the stator. The guide member comprises multiple guide pieces having guide curved surface parts and multiple connection pieces connecting the guide pieces. Each connection piece connects the guide pieces on the guide curved surface parts. ! CO |
