PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unexpected loosening of a vertical shaft (a rotary fulcrum pin) for pivoting a slider to a tip part of an arm. ! SOLUTION: A con-shield type door closer is provided for pivotally connecting a tip part of an arm (5) having a base end part pivotally connected to a door closer body (C) and a slider (11) slidably engaged with a slide guide rail (9) by a vertical shaft, and one end part of a sheath shaft (N) is non-rotatably inserted into and fixed to the tip part of the arm (5) with the vertical shaft as a double shaft composed of a core shaft (B) and the sheath shaft (N) threadedly fastened thereto, and the other end part of the sheath shaft (N) is similarly rotatably inserted into and fitted to the slider (11). !
