PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sash roller for a sliding door capable of preventing the sliding door from being opened and closed with vigor. ! SOLUTION: A rolling roller 24 capable of rolling along a rail is supported by a facing pair of side plates 18 provided in an inner housing 12 of a housing 10, and a braking roller 27 is provided on one side of the rolling roller 24, and a stopper pin 28 is provided on an upper side thereof. When a sliding door D slidably supported by a sash roller is opened and closed with vigor, the braking roller 27 is made to revolve while rotating by the contact with the rolling roller 24 so as to be brought into contact with the stopper pin 28, and rotational resistance is imparted to the braking roller 27 by the contact with the stopper pin 28, and vigor of the sliding door D is decreased with using the rotational resistance imparted to the rolling roller 24 from the braking roller 27 as brake force. !
