PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throw-away type hob that can precisely adjust a fitting position of a throw-away tip in the tip thickness direction and facilitate tip replacement work. ! SOLUTION: In a throw-away tip type hob 1, a plurality of disk-like hob bodies 11 in which tip fitting seats 32L, 32R to which throw-away tips 51 are fitted, are alternately arranged right and left along a twist direction on both of right and left slopes 31L and 31R of a thread 31, are stacked, and one end 31a of one thread 31 is joined to the other end 31 b of the other thread 31 between adjacent hob bodies 11. The throw-away tips 51 can be fitted by bolts 52 to adjustment plates 53 fitted to the tip fitting seats 32La, 32Rb using a hollow bolt 54, and fitting positions of the throw-away tips 51 in the thickness direction can be adjusted by varying the thicknesses of the adjustment plates 53. !
