PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable backrest being light-weight and compact, easily carried, and capable of stably retaining a body position of a seated person by installing it on a wheelchair or the like.SOLUTION: A portable backrest 1 includes supports 3 and 3 on both ends of a substantially quadrilateral sheet member 2, and is used at a visit destination by resting the portable backrest against a backrest 11 of a wheelchair 10. On this occasion, a pillow can be inserted between the root of the occipital region of a patient and the portable backrest 1 so as to stably retain the body position thereof from the back to the head part of the patient. |
