PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass plate attaching structure for a thin display in which an attachment member is not exposed on the front side of a glass plate, and design and attachment/detachment workability are excellent.SOLUTION: Rod-like receiving angles 22 each having a substantially J-shaped cross section and comprising a horizontal plate part and an upward plate part are fixed to the upper side and lower side of a rectangular frame 4. Rod-like engaging angle 25, 26 each having a substantially L-shaped cross section and comprising a downward engagement plate part capable of being engaged with the horizontal plate part of the rod-like receiving angle 22 are fixed on the back surface of a glass plate 6. A position regulation member for regulating the position of the downward engagement plate part is fixed on each of the horizontal plate parts to form a horizontal slit in each of the horizontal plate parts. Then, the downward engagement parts of the glass plate 6 are engaged in the slits of the rod-like receiving angles 22 of the rectangular frame 4 to fix the glass plate 6 to the rectangular frame 4. In the state that the glass plate 6 is fixed, the position regulation members regulate the movement of both the downward engagement plate parts in the back and forth direction. |
