PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester resin which has excellent adhesion to a fluororesin and a polyester resin constituting a back sheet in a photovoltaic power generation module. ! SOLUTION: The copolyester resin contains a terephthalic acid, an isophthalic acid, and a dimer acid as an acid component. The total content of the terephthalic acid and the isophthalic acid in the acid component is 65-92 mol%. The content of the dimer acid in the acid component is 8-35 mol%. The copolyester resin also contains ethylene glycol and neopentyl glycol as a glycol component. The content of the neopentyl glycol in the glycol component is 30-60 mol%.
