PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for generating a map.SOLUTION: A map generation system comprises: a related word storage unit for relating multiple words and storing the words as related words; a map layer storage unit for storing multiple types of map layers linked with at least one of the related words; a word acceptance unit for accepting a specific word which is input; a related word extraction unit for extracting one or multiple related words from among stored related words by using the accepted specific word; a map layer extraction unit for extracting a map layer linked with the extracted related word from the map layer storage unit; a map generation unit for generating a map on the basis of the extracted map layer; and an output unit for outputting a map. |
