PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder lock with a sidebar capable of improving a prevention function of illegal unlocking as much as possible.SOLUTION: In a cylinder lock: when a key 22 is not inserted into a cylinder 12, a tumbler 14 is inserted into a first engaging groove 11d of a holder 11, and a sidebar 30 is inserted into a second engaging groove 11e of the holder 11 to be in locking operation; and the key 22 is inserted thereinto, the tumbler 14 comes out from the first engaging groove 11d and cutout recesses 14a thereof are aligned, and the sidebar 30 is inserted into the cutout recesses 14a and comes out from the second engaging groove 11e to be unlockable. The sidebar 30 is formed as the slender and nearly rectangular parallelepiped sidebar 30 provided with ribs 31 in a front part area. Each of the ribs 31 is formed as a plate-like body extended in a width in a short side direction of the sidebar 30 up to the tip of a front part 30a of the sidebar 30 and provided at a position not facing the tumbler 14. |
