PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil seal improving the slide contact resistance of a lip portion, by changing the pressure resistance performance of the lip portion according to the pressure of oil or air.SOLUTION: An oil seal is composed of disc-shaped standing portions 53 and 55c, a fitting portion 52 provided on either one of an outer periphery or an inner periphery of the standing portion 53, and a lip portion 54 provided on the other of the outer periphery and the inner periphery of the standing portion 53. The oil seal is provided with an elastic portion 56 elastically deforming according to the pressure of liquid at a part of the standing portion 55c. When the pressure of the liquid is high, the lip portion 54 is moved to the other of the outer periphery and the inner periphery by the elastic portion 56 to improve an interference, and when the pressure of the liquid is low, the lip portion 54 is moved to one of the outer periphery and the inner periphery by the elastic portion 56 to lower the interference. |
