PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire for a heavy load in which shoulder edge wearing can be suppressed sufficiently while maintaining plunger durability.SOLUTION: A first belt layer, a second belt layer and a third belt layer are arranged on the outer circumferential side of a crown area of a carcass extending toroidally between a pair of bead parts and in order from the tire radius direction- inside. The first belt layer is comprised of a cord extending with an inclination of a larger angle than 45° to the tire circumferential direction. The second belt layer is comprised of a cord extending to the tire circumferential direction. The third belt layer is comprised of a cord extending with an inclination of a smaller angle than 30° in a direction reverse to the inclination of the cord of the first belt layer with respect to the tire circumferential direction. The width wof the third belt layer is set to be equal to 80% or more of the tread width w, and, supposing the width of the first belt layer and the width of the second belt layer as wand wrespectively, the relationship w<w<wis satisfied. |
