PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball which can increase an amount of spin when hit by a driver while maintaining the amount of spin in hitting at an approach, and is excellent in durability.SOLUTION: A golf ball 1 includes: a core 10 positioned in the center of the golf ball 1; a cover 30 surrounding the outside of the core 10 and having a plurality of dimples 32 on its surface; and a coating layer 40 positioned between the core 10 and the cover 30. The coating layer 40 is formed of a material having rubber elasticity. The μ-hardness of the golf ball 1 is preferably not lower than 3.0, and the cover 30 has hardness not lower than 50 in Shore D-hardness. |
