PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve security without impairing convenience of a mobile terminal.SOLUTION: A control unit (10) of a mobile terminal (1) comprises: a state determination unit (11) that determines a top-bottom direction with respect to a gravity direction and a movement state of a mobile terminal (1) on the basis of a value of acceleration detected by an acceleration sensor (30); and a function control unit (13) that disables an image display function of a display unit (50) when it is determined that the mobile terminal (1) is in a gripped state where the mobile terminal (1) is regarded as being directed downward with respect to the gravity direction and being in a stationary state.
