PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent or suppress reduction in noise resistance of an amount of detection on a drive electrode provided to an input device and having a width different from those of other drive electrodes.SOLUTION: A touch panel TP1 as an input device includes: a plurality of drive electrodes Tx2 to Tx9 that extends in an X-axis direction and is arrayed in a Y-axis direction crossing the X-axis direction; and a drive electrode Tx1 that is arranged on one outer side of an array of the drive electrodes Tx2 to Tx9, and extends in the X-axis direction. Further, the touch panel TP1 includes a plurality of detection electrodes Rx that extend in the Y-axis direction and are arrayed in the X-axis direction. A width WD2 of the drive electrode Tx1 is smaller than each width WD1 of the drive electrodes Tx2 to Tx9, and the detection electrode Rx includes an extension part OH4 extending an area of the detection electrode Rx on an opposite side of the plurality of drive electrodes Tx2 to Tx9 across the drive electrode Tx1. |
