<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environmentally friendly wall coating material using as much shellfish shells as possible, above all a wall coating material usable without using mortar by using shellfish shells alone.SOLUTION: The provided wall coating material is obtained by including, within a wall coating matrix including a shellfish shell powder as a main component, a solidifying material including magnesium oxide as a main component. In the provided coating method, a wall coating matrix to which a specified ratio of a sieved and classified oyster shell powder has been added is prepared at Step 1, whereas a specified ratio of the solidifying material is prepared at Step 2. Next, both are charged into a mixer and kneaded and homogenized at Step 3, whereas water is added to and kneaded with both at Step 4 for obtaining a pasty admixture. At step 5, a wall coating material is prepared by homogenizing the admixture, whereas the wall coating material is trowel-coated onto a work target base material surface based on a plastering technique at Step 6. Subsequently, a coated wall is formed at Step 7 by spontaneously drying the coating material.</p> |
