<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately select a base station for which power supply is to be turned off while maintaining a radio wave state in an area concerned.SOLUTION: A radio communication system pertaining to the present invention comprises a plurality of radio base station devices forming a radio cell, and a radio base station controller for controlling the plurality of radio base station devices, wherein the radio base station controller is provided with acquisition means for acquiring adjacent base station information representing an adjacent relation of the radio base station devices, and power control means for instructing, on the basis of the adjacent base station information acquired by the acquisition means, that at least one of the radio base station devices be powered off while not causing base station devices adjacent thereto to be powered off, and the radio base station devices are provided with power supply control means for turning the power supply off according to an instruction from the radio base station controller.</p> |
