The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus to generate a scrambling sequence in an inter-device communication and, more specifically, to a method and an apparatus to generate a scrambling sequence based on an initial value determined by a function of at least one of a transmission device identifier, a reception device identifier, and a preset value. In detail, the present invention relates to a method and an apparatus to generate a scrambling sequence in a device performing inter-device communication, which comprises the steps of: acquiring at least one of an identifier of the device, an identifier of a counterpart device, and a preset value; determining an initial value of a scrambling sequence for inter-device communication based on at least one of the identifier of the device, the identifier of the counterpart device, and the preset value which have been acquired; and generating a scrambling sequence using the initial value.
