PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic toll collection system capable of reducing a load on a handicapped person.SOLUTION: An automatic toll collection system 1 comprises: a vehicle number recognition device 30 for recognizing a vehicle number of a vehicle entering a passage lane 10 of a toll gate; a monitoring device 100 for receiving information 35 on the recognized vehicle number; and a notification device 200 for notifying an attendant at the toll gate. The monitoring device 100 comprises: a vehicle number database 125 having vehicle numbers registered therein; a collation unit 112 for collating the recognized vehicle number with registered vehicle numbers; and a reception processing unit 113 for executing reception processing when the result of the collation is coincident. The reception processing includes bringing the notification device 200 into automatic operation. |
