PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a cup type paper container having excellent touch when putting a top curl part (TC) to the lips, and improved in level difference of a TC part top surface, and a cup type paper container by the same.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a cup type paper container including a cylindrical trunk part 20 formed of a laminate containing a paper layer 2, a bottom surface part 30 for sealing the lower opening of the trunk part, and a lid material 10 for sealing the upper opening of the trunk part includes: a step of previously protecting a side edge 21b to be a container inner side of a trunk part forming blank 20b with a thermoplastic resin layer; a step of molding the trunk part by overlapping and heat sealing both right and left side edges of the trunk part forming blank to form a trunk part sticking part 21c; a step of forming the bottom surface part; a step of rolling the upper end of the trunk part to the outside to form a TC part; and a step of heat sealing the lid material. The method further includes a step of crushing level difference caused by overlapping both right and left side edges by thermal compression bonding the upper end part 21d of the trunk part sticking part 21c before the step of forming the TC part. |
