PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker having a thermal pull-off device that saves space even in a case where the distance between a bimetal and a trip bar changes.SOLUTION: A circuit breaker comprises: an opening/closing contact configured to open/close an electric circuit; an opening/closing mechanism part configured to open the opening/closing contact; and a thermal pull-off device configured to drive the opening/closing mechanism part. The thermal pull-off device comprises: a bimetal 43 having a guide groove 43a formed from an opening made in an end of a part opposite a trip bar, and an engagement hole 43b made with a predetermined space left in the longitudinal direction of the guide groove 43a; and an adjuster 44 forming a contact part whose one side is inserted into the engagement hole 43b and another side slides within the guide groove 43a, and another side connecting both the sides strikes against the trip bar. After coming into contact with the trip bar due to deformation of the bimetal 43, the adjuster 44 is fixed to the bimetal 43 while pushed back by the trip bar. |
