PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power control device and power control method capable of effectively utilizing a stationary power supply.SOLUTION: A power control device 101 for controlling power supply from a stationary power supply 103 and power supply from a mobile power supply 105 comprises a control unit which acquires a cutoff time zone where the power supply from the mobile power supply 105 is cut off, and assigns the stationary power supply 103 as a power supply source in an overlapping time zone where the cutoff time zone and a predetermined time zone are overlapped.
