PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner which is capable of reducing brightness of reflected light to improve contrast of an image drawn by scanning of the reflected light, an image display device, a head-mounted display, and a method of manufacturing the optical scanner.SOLUTION: An optical scanner 4 includes a movable part 41 capable of rocking around a first axis J1 and first shaft parts 421 and 422 supporting the movable part 41 so as to allow the movable part 41 to rock around the first axis J1. The movable part 41 includes a base part 411 connected to the first shaft parts 421 and 422, a light-transmissive part 412 supported by the base part 411 and having light-transmissive property, and a first light reflection reduction part 413 which is provided on a surface of the light-transmissive part 412 to reduce light reflection. |
