PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the number of bills in a storage cannot be defined when a conveyance order is changed due to an abnormal conveyance (erroneous conveyance or a case that bills at the entrance of the storage are not pulled out in the proper order in releasing jammed bills or the like).SOLUTION: A bill processing device includes: a money reception port for receiving an input of bills from a user; an identification part for acquiring an identification number given to each of the bills; a storage for storing the bills; a conveyance path to connect the money reception port, the identification part and the storage for conveying the bills; a memory part for memorizing an order of the bills stored in the storage in association with their identification numbers; and a controller for controlling them. The memory part memorizes a type of each abnormal conveyance and a confirmation number of bills fed from the storage for confirmation in association with the abnormal conveyance type. When an abnormal conveyance occurs, the controller refers to the memory part and causes the storage to feed the confirmation number of bills in response to the abnormal conveyance. |
