PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide nail clippers capable of cutting nails with relatively small force by reducing pressing force to the point of action required for meshing blades while having one lever member.SOLUTION: There are provided nail clippers in which both blade members 2, 3 are jointed at the rear end part and which cut nails by meshing opposing blades 8, 9. The positions of three points of a lever member 4 are the point of action, the fulcrum, and the power point in this order from the front side on which the blades 8, 9 are provided. When one blade member 3 is pressed with the lever member 4 in order to mesh the opposing blades 8, 9, since the point of action of the lever member which is the blade pressing part is farthest from the junction of both blade members 2, 3, large moment can be obtained even though the pressing force at the point of action is small, and the blade member can be pressed with small force to cut the nail. |
