PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection cap 1 that comprises a cylindrical closing plug 11 having a bottom, whose one end is opened and which is made of an elastic material, and is mounted in a tightly fitted state where a peripheral wall 12 of the cylindrical closing plug 11 is press-fitted to the open end part of a pipe body, and in which attachment/detachment to the open end part of the pipe body is easy.SOLUTION: A part of a bottom part 13 of a cylindrical closing plug 11 and a part of a peripheral wall 12 are consecutively protruded inward, and thereby a hollow protrusion part 14 is provided, which protrudes into the cylindrical closing plug 11 and consecutively opens to at least one side of the side of a rear surface 13a of the bottom part 13 and the peripheral wall 12. |
