PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing copper nanoparticles by a polyol method, being a method for easily producing copper nanoparticles suitable for copper nanoink, having excellent oxidation resistance and dispersion stability and further having low temperature sinterability t 200°C or lower. ! SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing copper nanoparticles by a polyol method. The method for producing copper nanoparticles is characterized in that: (1) it has a step of heating a solution in which both of a copper compound and ammonium formate are dissolved in polyol solvent: and (2) the constituting components other than copper in the copper compound are dissolved or evaporated at 200°C or lower. !
