PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array substrate and a liquid crystal display panel that solve the problem of a flicker upon displaying an image.SOLUTION: The array substrate includes: a substrate; a data line and a gate line that are arranged so as to cross on the substrate; and a sub pixel unit in an array arrangement that is obtained by being surrounded with the data line and the gate line. Of the sub pixel unit, two gate lines driving each of the sub pixel unit in two adjacent rows are located between the sub pixel units of the two adjacent rows, and out of the sub pixel units thereof, the respective sub pixel units include a thin film transistor (TFT) and a pixel electrode, and the TFT and the pixel electrode are electrically connected, thereby becoming a switch element. A connection region of the TFT and the pixel electrode is located between two adjacent gate lines of the sub pixel units, and the connection region thereof and the two gate lines have no region overlapping on a projection in a vertical direction in the array substrate. |
