PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dimension measuring method of a building board capable of measuring the dimension of a building board by a method highly accurate in measurement and simple.SOLUTION: The dimension measuring method of a building board 1 measures a dimension of the building board 1, while conveying the building board 1 by conveying means 2. A speed sensor 3 is installed in the surrounding of the conveying means 2. The building board 1 has at least one or more flat-shaped detection parts 10 formed by extending from one end to the other end of the conveying means. The building board 1 is conveyed by being mounted on the conveying means 2 so that the extending direction of the detection part 10 is the same as the conveying direction of the building board 1. A conveying speed of the building board is measured by detecting the detection part 10 of the conveyed building board 1 by the speed sensor 3. The dimension of the building board 1 is measured by calculating a whole length of the detection part 10 based on a measurement value of the conveying speed. |
