<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas recirculation device forming electric field of proper intensity according to an alcohol content of a mixed fuel supplied to an engine, on a reforming catalyst.SOLUTION: An exhaust gas recirculation device includes a fuel reformer disposed on an EGR pipe and including a reforming catalyst producing hydrogen by utilizing an exhaust gas, a power source forming electric field on the reforming catalyst, a LAF sensor detecting an air fuel ratio of the exhaust gas, and an ECU determining a fuel injection amount of an engine so that an actual equivalent ratio corresponding to output of the LAF sensor becomes a prescribed target equivalent ratio. The ECU determines electric power E charged to the reforming catalyst on the basis of an alcohol coefficient (KAF-1) in proportion to deviation of the fuel injection amount determined by feedback control based on the output of the LAF sensor, from a reference injection amount. The reference amount is calculated on the basis of the target equivalent ratio under the assumption that the alcohol content of the used fuel is a prescribed reference content.</p> |
