PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing apparatus and the like in which unwanted gain variation in voice spectrum emphasis processing is prevented and a formant frequency is appropriately emphasized, thereby improving articulation of speech.SOLUTION: A signal processing apparatus determines whether to perform spectrum emphasis processing on an input signal formed from a plurality of frequency bands and, on the basis of a level of a signal in a frequency band of a processing object which is determined to perform the spectrum emphasis processing thereon and a level of a signal of a frequency band neighboring thereto, detects whether the frequency band of the processing object is a peak (steps S20, S21, S23). Regarding the signal of the frequency band of the processing object, the signal processing apparatus calculates a present spectrum gain on the basis of peak information and spectrum gain information in the past (steps S22, S25, S26). Thus, by adding an appropriate spectrum gain to the signal of the frequency band of the processing object, unwanted gain variation can be prevented and articulation of speech can be improved. |
